The Spanish Confederation of Directors and Executives (CEDE) celebrated its third year of Management Awards on the 22nd of November in Murcia in a ceremony held in the Town Hall by the Mayor of the city, Miguel Ángel Cámara. The aim of this year’s ceremony was to specially award those management personalities who made the Autonomous Region into “an example of good management and leadership”.

The six top dogs of the Murcian economy nominated by their colleagues were Carlos Egea, general director of Cajamurcia; Encarnación Espinosa, manager of Ayuda a Domicilio Murcia; Roberto López Abad, general director of La Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo; José Marín, president of Mármoles San Marino; José Manuel Martínez, president of Mapfre, and Manuel Torres, president of MTorres Group. The panel took into account “the candidates’ contribution to securing managerial excellence in their respective areas of performance, as well as innovation, expansion, diversification, internationalization and competitive adaptability, and how many improvements and new scopes they have developed in order to increase their company’s advantages,” as the CEDE pointed out.
