New Talents
Mechatronic Ants got the second place in the First Lego League World Championship held in St. Louis (USA) this weekend. Participating once again in this global competition is already a reward itself, but getting the podium and be a finalist for the second year in a row is a fantastic milestone and they have achieve it.

After a tought and exciting battle at the table of the robot, the team from Torres de Elorz plant got the highest score, 976 points, in two of the three rounds. However, another American team overcame their spectacular performance in one of the rounds and our team were finally second, despite having occupied the first place in the score during  most of the competition.


But the excitement lasted until the end, when the team was chosen one of the three finalists of the tournament, accompanied by an American team and another one from Lebanon. Surprisingly, the same nationalities who shared the podium with the previous year, but this time, with different teams. The elaborate presentation of scientific, technical and core values projects of the Mechatronic Ants took them to get the second place of the overall world competition.


This is the best reward after several intense months of hard work and effort that have been prepared the team in the best way possible.
